As a fulfilled mother of 3 children and with more than 20 years in communication, I have issued myself a new challenge!
After having undergone 3 operations to remove melanomas (skin cancer) and following the premature death of my mother in 2014 of a nodular melanoma, protecting my skin from the sun has become one of my priorities. The swimsuits I wore were not suitable, and following a trip to Mexico, I realized that I wanted to feel feminine and elegant at the beach while remaining protected.
The brand Virginie Fleuriel was born … chic and very feminine UV anti-UV swimwear with a UPF 50+ index, intended for women who have had cancer but also for all those who want to protect their skin and their health.
This business creation is above all a therapy, I want this step in my life to become a positive experience.
I opted for « Made in France », for the choice of materials and accessories. We have an extraordinary know-how, and for me there was no question of producing my swimsuits abroad.
The environment is also one of my daily priorities, which is why I chose safe materials for human ecology, reliable products that respect our health and the environment.
